Contemporary kitchens ceased performing exclusively utility function quite a long time ago.

Today, more and more often joined with living rooms, they serve as centres of social and family gatherings.

Due to the changes that the 21st century has brought to our way of life – increasingly popular “eating in the city” or ready-made boxed meal catering – daily cooking in the kitchen has become less frequent.

In addition to their traditional functions, there is now pressure on the product design that moves away from utilitarianism. The best example of possibilities as regards the production of Laveo sinks and the new concept according to which a sink can serve as a decoration is our Komodo model, richly ornamented according to an idea by an artist from Łódź, Anna Modrzejewska, on the occasion of launching the production of this extremely technologically complicated sink.
